Project Next Generation at Douglass Branch Library

Project Next Generation is in operation for another semester at Douglass Branch Library in Champaign, IL. Project Next Generation is an Illinois State Library initiative to engage middle school children to encourage greater use of technology and integrating these skills with social values for personal development. 

The Douglass Branch Library is hosting middle school children (Grades 5-8) in Tuesday and Thursday afternoon sessions. The Spring 2013 semester schedule is underway as of last Tuesday, February 26. This semester’s scheduled activities include Digital Camera workshops, Stock Market Watching, Savvy Shopping, Digital Vaults, Online Clouds, field trips, A visit from author Walter Dean Myers, and many more! 

PNG programming will continue through the Summer and the following Fall 2013 semesters as well.
